Early-Birds:

For families who need a little extra morning time, St. Timothy’s offers a before-care program from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at an additional cost. Children will play in a classroom supervised by our caring St. Timothy’s staff in a safe and nurturing environment.

Lunch Bunch

Our Lunch Bunch program gives morning students the chance to stay at school until 1:30 p.m., enjoying extra time to play, create, and socialize. Lunch Bunch is available Monday through Friday. Parents can register and pay for the days their child will attend. Children are always supervised by our caring pre-school staff.

During Lunch Bunch, children bring their own lunch from home and participate in a variety of activities including free play, outdoor play, and arts and crafts. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to make new friends and have fun, while giving parents a bit of extra time in their day. Plus, a school-provided pizza day (complete with fruit, cookies, and juice) is offered once a week for an extra treat!

St. Timothy’s Afternoon Care (STAC) Program) | 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.:

The STAC program is our after-care option for 3-year-olds and young 4-year-olds, designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment after the morning session.

STAC includes Lunch Bunch followed by afternoon activities, which feature a rest period, snack time, and hands-on play and crafts—similar to the activities in our morning homeroom. The program’s main focus is to help our younger students develop social skills, giving them extra opportunities to practice sharing, cooperation, and friendship while having lots of fun! Our Pre-K STEP teachers may invite the younger students to participate in the day’s STEP activities or may provide optional simplified activities that correlate with the day’s STEP theme.

To participate, children must be at least 3 years old and comfortable using the bathroom independently.

St. Timothy’s Enrichment (STEP) Program | 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.:

S.T.E.P. is our afternoon enrichment program for children enrolled at St. Timothy’s Preschool, offering a fun and educational extension to the school day. Students participate in a combined Lunch Bunch and enrichment session, exploring a variety of hands-on topics designed to spark curiosity and creativity.

The program runs Monday through Friday, with a different theme each day, typically organized in 3–4 week units. Topics may change monthly, giving children new experiences and opportunities to learn. A sample schedule might look like:

• Monday: Spanish
• Tuesday: Brain Games
• Wednesday: Leaping into Literature
• Thursday: Playing with Picasso
• Friday: Sensational Snow Crafts

S.T.E.P. is best suited for our older preschoolers—children who are fully comfortable in the preschool setting and ready for a longer day of exploration, learning, and fun!

Extended Day | 4:00 – 4:30 p.m.:

For families who need a little extra afternoon time, St. Timothy’s makes available an extended day from 4:00 – 4:30 p.m. at an additional cost. Children will play in a classroom supervised by our caring St. Timothy’s staff in a safe and nurturing environment. To help us plan staffing, we ask that parents commit to the program by the first day of school. Please note that if there are not enough participants, the program may be cancelled.

Summer Camps:

St. Timothy’s Preschool offers an exciting Summer Program with two unique two-week sessions, packed with fun, learning, and adventure! Each session features a specific theme, which changes from year to year, inspiring children to explore and discover. Past themes have included Young Astronauts, Dinosaurs, Rainforest, Under the Sea, Creepy Crawly Bug Camp, Pirates & Princesses, and Safari, among others.

Camp runs 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and includes Lunch Bunch. Parents provide lunch daily, except for one special pizza day each week, complete with fruit, cookies, and juice.

Each day includes a special time to explore the theme, along with arts and crafts, games, storytime, sing-alongs, free play, and even sprinkler fun on sunny days. A light parent-provided snack is also served daily.

Optional Early-Birds drop off beginning at 8:00 a.m. and an optional Extended Day with pick up at 3:00 p.m., are also available.

Summer Camp is designed for children ages 4 (by September 30) and 5, with limited group size, so early registration is encouraged.
