At an additional cost, the school is offering a before-care program every morning, which will begin at 7:45 and end at 8:45 when regular school begins. We will need to have commitments from parents by the first day of the school year for staff scheduling purposes. Children will be supervised by the St. Timothy’s Staff. If there are not enough students signed up, the program will be cancelled. Please make sure to call the school to express your interest.
The Lunch Bunch program is an opportunity for students in the morning session to remain at school until 1:30 pm. We are currently offering Lunch Bunch Monday – Friday. At the beginning of each month, the dates that Lunch Bunch will be available are announced. Parents may register and pay at that time for the dates(s) that they would like the child to attend. For those that choose to sign up for the first half of the year, a discount will be offered. Children are supervised by members of the pre-school staff.
The program includes lunch (brought from home) and a number of activities which may include outdoor play, art, and music. Lunch Bunch is an additional opportunity for children to have fun and socialize with other students while providing parents with a little extra time.
S.T.E.P. (St. Timothy’s Enrichment Program)
S.T.E.P. is an afternoon supplemental program for enrolled students of St. Timothy’s Pre-School. Children will remain for a combined Lunch Bunch and Enrichment class. It is typically designed as a 3-4 week program. Topics will vary each session. The program is primarily geared toward the older child and those who are totally comfortable with the preschool setting, as well as being ready for the longer day. Dismissal will begin at 2:45pm.
St. Timothy’s Pre-School Summer Program consists of two unique two-week sessions. Each session provides a variety of indoor and outdoor educational and recreational activities based on a specific theme. Themes are varied from year to year. Themes that may be offered include Young Astronauts, Dinosaurs, Rain Forest, Under the Sea, Little All-Stars, Pirates & Princesses and the Circus. Camp hours are 9:00am – Noon daily.
A special time is planned each day to discuss and share information about the theme of the session. In activities related to the theme, the children participate in arts and crafts, games, directed and free play, story time, sing-along, and sprinkler play. A light snack is served daily.
Staff members are experienced Early Childhood professionals trained in CPR and First Aid. The staff/camper ratio is 1:7. The summer program is limited to children ages 4 (by Sept. 30) and 5. Group size is limited. Registration opens in mid-April for current students. New students are accepted beginning in early May.
